𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀 will always be remembered for his tireless work ethic, exceptional intelligence on the ball, and his remarkable box-to-box performances.

As a key figure in the Netherlands’ revolutionary “Total Football” system, Johan not only shaped the future of the game but left an indelible mark on football at every level, from club to country to the entire football world.

It was an honor and privilege to work alongside this true legend through the KNVB programme. Neeskens was the driving force and the embodiment of KNVB WorldCoaches, which saw him fly across the world to train coaches in low- and middle-income countries.

We are deeply saddened by his sudden passing and extend our most heartfelt condolences to Johan’s family, friends, and all those blessed to have known him. Thank you for your friendship and partnership over the years.
