2014 McDonald’s U/14 Schools League National Finals Kick-Off in Actonville – Gauteng
Grassroots football players from South African schools have enjoyed a challenging and exciting 2014 McDonald’s U/14 Schools League provincial tournament. Hailed as “Developing Dreams”, the tournament saw schools from across all nine provinces playing a series of qualifying games to reach the national finals, to be held in Gauteng, Actonville stadium in Benoni on Saturday, 4th of October 2014 from 09:00 to 13:00.

Since 2010, the league has reached over 3300 schools and 54 400 children yearly on average, and this year was no different.

The 2014 McDonald’s U/14 Schools League finals on Saturday will see the top performing provincial teams compete to be crowned the 2014 champions. Teams playing this weekend include:
• North West – Sol Plaatjie Secondary School
• Mpumalanga– Coromandel Primary School
• Gauteng – Prestige College
• Limpopo – Bjatladi high school
• Northern Cape – Keidebees intermediate school
• Kwa-Zulu Natal – Khethokuhle Secondary School
• Free State – Bodikela Secondary School
• Eastern Cape – Eluhewini Combined School
• Western Cape – Robin Vale High School
