This past Sunday (03-11-2013) Castle Superstars scouts along with Philemon Masinga set out to Mpumalanga in search of this year’s Castle Superstars.

It was an action packed day with several players managing to impress the scouts. Wild card players were also given the opportunity to book their place in the 45 man camp. Caesar Maphalla who took the wild cards through several drills was quite impressed with level of certain players in the group.

Castle Superstars is an initiative sponsored by Castle Lager which intends on unearthing the next Bafana Bafana Stars. Selected players will be given the opportunity to compete against some of the country’s top professional teams in early January.
