“Women’s football proves that when it comes to the power of sport, gender is no match for talent, determination, and passion.”
With the Women’s FIFA Women’s World Cup around the corner, we’re even more excited after our team successfully executed the Discovery Girls Festival earlier this month.
An exciting and empowering event that brought together young female athletes from different communities and backgrounds to showcase their skills and passion for the sport, with the increase in the number of girls’ teams entering into the tournament this year showing the continuous growth and development of the Women’s game.

These tournaments encourage the girls to pursue their passions and develop their skills in a safe and supportive space, from the grassroots level to the highest levels of international competition.
In addition, girls’ football tournaments can have a positive impact on physical and mental health. Regular participation in sports has been shown to improve cardiovascular health, reduce obesity, and boost self-esteem and confidence. By providing girls with opportunities to play football and compete in tournaments, we can help them develop lifelong healthy habits and a positive lifestyle, all in alignment with Discovery’s objectives.

We are excited about what’s to come in the women’s game and the multiple female-focused campaigns as we get closer to the FIFA WWC and we are eager to continue leading from the forefront as our clients and partners trusted Global Sports Management Specialists.
