On Thursday the 11th of February 2016, Forwardzone and the KNVB joined over 1200 key figures and celebrities from the sports industry for the DSIA. The Awards aim to celebrate the best work off the field in the business of sport and showcase everything that is great about the South African sport industry.
FZ and the KNVB were shorted listed in the Sports Development programme of the year. With in the category a large number of entries come through in 2016, with KNVB Worldcoaches programme a top nomination in the category. The overall winner was given to CONNECT Khayelitsha Sports Academy.
