On Wednesday, 9th November 2011 the U 20 South African National team beat Lesotho 2-1 at the Laubscher Stadium in Kroonstad. The goal scorers are both FZ Players: Thabani Mthembu and Sanele Khuzwayo.

They then went on to beat Botswana 2-0 on Saturday, 12th November 2011 in Gaborone, Botswana. Jabulani Ncubeni and Muzi Mahlangu scored the goals against Botswana.

This is a great start for the U 20’s and it is definitely a good sign that they will do well at the Cosafa Under-20 Youth Tournament. They leave for Botswana on the 30th November for the tournament which will happen from the 1-10 December 2011.

These are the possible FZ players who will be chosen for the Tournament: Thabani Mthembu, Miguel Timm, Sanele Khuzwayo, Mbuso Manyoni, Gino Moketsi, Daylon Appolis and Snethemba Ngidi.
