On the 7th of February, MultiChoice and the Premier Soccer League (PSL) officially kicked off the PSL Player Transition Programme at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) in Johannesburg.
Sixty-four current PSL players have been enrolled for the six-month course which is specifically designed by GIBS to equip and empower them with the necessary knowledge and skills to help them find careers off the field after they retire. The course will run virtually for six months and will involve a learning environment prepare these players for the reality of retirement from playing professional sport, empowering them to make a meaningful impact in the world and to leave a legacy.
