Martha Karimi Mithika Kenya National football, arrived in South Africa last week Monday as Part of the KNVB International Coaching Course initiative in Cape Town . The Kenyan National Captain, who was seen earlier this year during the AFCON Qualifiers against Rwanda, joined Maties Women’s Football for the week conducting training sessions and football workshops, where she was able to share her expertise with the players and coaches. Girls and Football SA hosted Martha at St Pauls Primary in Bo koop on Friday. The Session allowed for 70 young football girls to engage with Martha about how she became a football player; about the challenges she has faced in becoming a football player as a woman; and about the beauty of the sport and why it is so good to be active and play football. The Girls then played a mini tournament and were coached by Kenyan. The KNVB continue to help the development of young South African girls and females throughout the football realm
