Bloemfontein Celtic took on West Ham United Reserve Team on Monday in their first of two friendly matches to be played on this year’s MultiChoice Diski Challenge UK Tour.

The match was played at Chadwell Heath, West Ham United’s Youth Training Academy.

The first half was evenly contested between the two teams.

Lunga Zikade opened the scoring giving Bloemfontein Celtic a 1 – 0 lead that the visitors took into the break.

The second half saw West Ham United come out pressing for the equaliser.

West Ham United forward, Longelo, pulled one back for the home team before converting from the spot to put West Ham United 2 – 1 ahead.

The match finished West Ham United 2 – 1 Bloemfontein Celtic.

Bloemfontein Celtic will play Fulham in their final Reserve Team Friendly on Thursday.
