The first edition of the MultiChoice International Challenge kicks off today in Rotterdam.
The four-team challenge will see MultiChoice Diski Challenge Champions Mamelodi Sundowns, Japenese side Ichifuna and the reserve teams from Eredivisie team S.B.V. Excelsior and Belgium Pro League Gent compete for the coveted trophy.
The Challenge will be played at S.B.V home ground Stadion Woudenstein.
In preparation for the tournament, Mamelodi Sundowns played PEC Zwolle in a 1-all draw on Monday night followed by a post-match video analysis by Henk Brugge, PEC Zwolle U19 Head Coach.
The team also had a training session at the home of Dutch Football, the KNVB Centrum, conducted by coaching legends Johan Neeskins and Aron Winter.
The MultiChoice International Challenge will open at 14h30 with Mamelodi Sundowns playing S.B.V Excelsior in the 2nd match at 16h00.
