In March 2025, Forwardzone provided a unique and career-shaping opportunity for six talented young South African footballers, taking them to Portugal for an elite two-week training experience with top-tier club Estoril FC.

The programme, hosted at Estoril’s professional training facility, brought together youth players from around the world – creating a melting pot of cultures, playing styles, and competitive levels. The South African group lived on-site at the club’s housing, immersed in a fully professional football environment that mirrors the demands and expectations of the European game.

For Forwardzone, this experience was about more than just football – it was about global exposure, character building, and testing potential. Stepping into a new footballing market allowed the players to benchmark themselves against international peers in their age group, providing valuable insight into where they stand on the world stage. Throughout the two weeks, players were pushed to adapt quickly to new systems, coaching styles, and tactical approaches.

To cap off the experience, each player received a detailed performance report from both the Estoril FC technical team and Forwardzone’s own FIFA-licensed agents who accompanied the group.
