The Volkswagen Junior Masters South Africa took place from the 7th to 10th of December 2017 at the University of Witwatersrand in Braamfontein Johannesburg. The tournament which sees teams sponsored by Volkswagen Dealerships from around the country saw 16 teams consisting of U-12 boys competing in the tournament.

The Opening Ceremony took place on the 7th December 2017 to kick the tournament off; present was the Volkswagen Junior Masters SA 2017 Ambassador, Dean Furman; he was joined by two well-known guests Andre Arendse and Oupa Manyisa.

The two-day tournament culminated in a Johannesburg final clash between McCarthy VW Constantia and Barons Bruma. The technical skills, speed and agility of McCarthy VW Constantia were unrivaled as they won the match 3 – 0 to clinch the tournament.

The McCarthy VW Constantia team will be jetting off to the Volkswagen Junior World Masters tournament in June this year to represent South Africa and will be competing with countries from all over the world.
