This past weekend, 08 May – 10 May 2015, Robbie Fowler former Liverpool and England Striker visited Mauritius to take part in a string of initiatives to help promote Mauritian football.
Robbie visited the Barclay’s main branch in Port Louis, Barclay’s head office and Jumbo shopping mall. Hundreds of fans flocked to the various venues to get opportunity to take a photo with hero and even get an autograph.

Fowler had the opportunity to meet with the Mauritian Prime Minister to discuss ideas to accelerate the development of Mauritian football. He closed off his visit with  at the St Francois Xavier stadium where a local football match took place.

The Liverpool legend provided Mauritian fans with a experience that will e remembered for years to come.
