Betway Kenya hosts Women’s Thought Leadership Seminar

Forwardzone was proud to be part of the Betway Kenya Women’s Thought Leadership Series hosted on the 24th and 25th March 2021.

The 2-day seminar aimed to empower local coaches and captains from 13 different teams from the Kenyan Women’s Premier League and Division One.

Forwardzone CEO Ashley Kotzin kicked of the seminar with a discussion on Leadership and Team Culture.

Banyana Banyana Head Coach, Desiree Ellis, an influential advocate to the advancement of the women’s game of football, joined the list of speakers discussing the key fundamentals to becoming a “Dream Coach”.

Other topics included Periodisation presented by Warren Engelbrecht, a leader in Sports Science and High Performance; Nutrition delivered by Nicki de Villiers, Head Dietician at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria; and Digital Opportunities.

Martha Karimi wrapped up the seminar with a closing discussion on Women’s Development in Sport.
