DStv Diski Challenge 2023 champions, Supersport United FC, travelled to the UK for series of world class experiences as part of their prize for being this year’s victors.

The team kicked of the experience with a tour of Queens Park Rangers training facility followed by an opening game against Bristol City’s U21 team, which proved to be a strong game, SuperSport FC unfortunately suffering a 6-2 defeat but an unforgettable game to kick off the tour. 

The group were given a personal tour of Tottenham Hotspurs’ world-class stadium. An incredible opportunity for the team to witness the facilities and atmosphere of a top-tier football club.

The team then trained at Arsenal’s Academy ground’s, which was a dream come true for the players and technical staff, as they got to learn from top-notch coaches and experience an elite training environment.

SSU FC played their final game against Queens Park Rangers. Determined to showcase their skills against the championship side. With the result being 4-4. 

The team ended their tour, by watching the 2023 Community Shield Final between Manchester City and Arsenal at Wembley. Giving the team a chance to witness two top Premier League teams compete against each other before the start of the Premier League season, SSU FC witnessed firsthand the excitement and passion of a high-level game, played in front of a massive crowd.
