Forwardzone is proud to have rolled out the first two activations of a great initiative driven by Discovery Insure.
The Discovery SEE ME initiative was launched in Alexandra last week.
The initiative, which addresses the key issue of road safety, aims to keep every school child in Alexandra Township safer on SA roads through creating awareness and education.
The initiative which includes giving school pupils reflective school bags and beanies to make the children more visible when walking on the roads. The pupils were also given booklets highlighting road safety, with the SEE ME mascots, Mr. Safety and Miss Caution adding a visual reminder of how to approach roads safely.
Former Banyana Banyana footballer, Simphiwe Dludlu, was also at the activations to lend her influence to the cause. A former Ikaga Primary pupil, Simphiwe returned to her old school with the Discovery SEE ME which added to the specialness of the initiative launch.
