The Discovery Primary Schools Knockout Cup is a tournament in Johannesburg that consists of 6 age groups; U9, U10, U11, U12, U13 and U14. There are four girls’ divisions which include U9, U10, U11, and U14. Over 1000 players compete in the tournament with the preliminary rounds being contested through May and June with the finals being held in mid-June. Launched in 2009, the Discovery Johannesburg Primary Schools Soccer Programme is a powerful platform that encourages community upliftment and healthier living from an early age.
