A New Multipurpose Facility at Moriting Primary School
In Tembisa, a once ordinary schoolyard has been transformed into a space of possibility and progress. Thanks to the joint efforts of FNB and VISA, together with Forwardzone – Moriting Primary School now proudly houses a brand-new multipurpose facility – a development that is already shaping lives within the school and beyond.
More Than Just a Field
What took only 12 weeks to build was never simply about concrete, or equipment. This was a labour of love, designed to empower learners and uplift an entire community. From the very beginning, local involvement was at the heart of the project. As the field took shape, community members gained invaluable skills and experience.
For Moriting Primary, a school of over 1,000 learners, the new facility opens doors to greater opportunities in sports, recreation, and personal growth. Importantly, the field is not confined to the school alone; neighbouring schools will also have access, ensuring the wider Tembisa community benefits from this shared space.
The multipurpose field is the latest chapter in an ongoing relationship between FNB and Moriting Primary. Over the years, FNB has invested in a vegetable garden to support nutrition and a library to nurture young minds. Now, with the addition of this sports facility, the school and its learners have another stepping stone toward a brighter, more holistic future.
What stands out most is the partnership itself. The connection between FNB and Moriting Primary has grown into a pillar within the community – one that strengthens with every initiative. This project is a clear reminder that when business and community come together with purpose, real change happens.
Forwardzone is proud to have played a key role in managing the build of this facility, contributing once again to the development of grassroots sport in South Africa.

A Field of Dreams
At Moriting Primary, a field is no longer just a place to play. It is a foundation for growth, teamwork, and dreams yet to be realised. With every match played and every learner inspired, the spirit of #FieldsForChange will continue to live on – proving that progress is best achieved when it is shared.
