We are proud to announce our partnership with JVW Football Club ahead of the 2021 National Women’s League.
Since the club’s establishment in 2012, JVW FC has continued to drive the development of Women’s Football.
Living up to the clubs motto, “Where stars are born”, JVW has become renowned for unearthing and shaping the future stars of South African Women’s Football.
Football Development has always been at the heart of our company’s purpose. The 2019 World Cup shone the world’s spotlight brightly on Women’s Football.
At Forwardzone we believe infinitely in the power that Women in Sport bring on and off the field and we are invested in our commitment to developing and empowering women footballers.
We are excited to be joining the JVW Family and look forward to playing a part in the club’s continued growth.
Commenting on this announcement, JVW FC Founder and Banyana Banyan Captain, Janine van Wyk said:
“I am extremely excited to welcome FZ to the JVW Family.
The club was created to provide a platform for young girls to express their incredible talent and go on to become elite and professional football players. There has always been a challenge with the lack of guidance to build their own identities and brands off the pitch in order to be recognized for who and what they are.
With FZ as a partner, the members at the club will have an opportunity to work on developing these missing skills that could set them up for a successful career both on and off the pitch.
We are looking forward to a fantastic relationship.”
