Barclays Premier League Side Cardiff City FC were in the country for the BPL LIVE Trophy and Fan Tour
during the past week.
Over the weekend of 29th and 30th of March 2014, the club demonstrated some of their local skills in the Skills Zone.
The Skills Zone was aimed at allowing South African youngsters the opportunity to use European Technology to enhance their skills.
Before their return to Europe, the club generously donated the Skill Zone apparatus Local School to be used in South Africa to enhance local grassroots football.
On Monday the 31st of March, an official handover of the apparatus was made to Iphutheng Primary School in Alexandra Johannesburg.
The School has both a girls and boys soccer team from Under 8 to Under 13 and will benefit hugely from the new device.
Forwardzone is honored with the responsibility of moving the Skills Zone around the country to various schools to help make a difference in exposing youngsters to European football skills.
