Happy Freedom Day South Africa!

Every year on April 27, South Africa pauses to remember a moment that reshaped its identity – the historic South African general election of 1994.

It was the first time that every South African, regardless of race, had the right to vote. A defining shift that saw Nelson Mandela elected as president, symbolising the dawn of democracy and the end of apartheid.

But Freedom Day is more than a milestone. It is a reminder.

A reminder of the sacrifices made.
A reminder of the responsibility we carry.
And a reminder that freedom is something we must continue to grow.
