Some recognitions carry a significance that extends far beyond football.

At the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League Awards, Forwardzone client Jayden Adams was posthumously honoured with the prestigious PSL Chairman’s Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to South African football and the lasting impact he made on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

While Jayden’s passing has left an immeasurable void within the football community, this tribute serves as a reminder of the extraordinary legacy he leaves behind.

Jayden represented everything that is good about football. He was immensely talented, fiercely committed to his craft and carried himself with humility, respect and kindness. Those qualities earned him the admiration of teammates, coaches, supporters and opponents alike.

Earlier this month, the South African football family gathered to celebrate his life and say a final goodbye. The outpouring of love and support from across the country demonstrated just how many lives he touched both on and off the pitch.

Receiving the PSL Chairman’s Award ensures that his contribution will forever form part of South African football’s history. While no accolade can ever replace the person we have lost, it is a fitting acknowledgement of a life that inspired so many and a career that still held limitless promise.

Everyone at Forwardzone remains incredibly proud to have represented Jayden throughout his career. More importantly, we are grateful to have known the remarkable person behind the footballer.

Our thoughts continue to be with the Adams family, his loved ones, Mamelodi Sundowns, his teammates and every person whose life was enriched by knowing Jayden.

His legacy will continue to inspire future generations of footballers.

Forever remembered. Forever admired.
