This past week sees the first KNVB (Royal Netherlands Football Association) and Alexandra LFA along with local school coaches the KNVB World Coaches training workshop sponsored by Forwardzone
The workshop aims to educated and training local football coaches and school coaches in the Alexandra suburbs in Johannesburg. 35 Coaches will take part in a 5 day workshop which focuses on youth development through football, focusing on both practical and technical elements of the game
THE KNVB is aiming to educate coaches throughout South African, the program hopes to enables the WorldCoaches programme to have even more impact on the local communities in South Africa as part of the Dutch Football association commitment, when they joined the South African Legacy programme in 2010
Forwardzone’s commitment to the Alexandra Schools and Football association is a long standing relationship which hopes to build on the existing programs currently running in the committee and the school’s football league. “It is our aim to make a difference by being a leader in corporate citizenship amongst our community.”
Together the various parties aim to bring an international programme which will help local community coaches with their teaching of football and life skills to the youth
