Another two football courses led by KNVB World Coaches were successfully concluded towards the end of last month and the impact was nothing short of extraordinary! At Forwardzone, we are honoured to be part of such remarkable programs that empower men and women in sports.

Course 1 was conducted in partnership with the Johannesburg Boys School League Association, this course catered specifically to teams participating in the Discovery High Schools Knockout Cup. Led by Bert Zuurman and Ingrid Perkamp, the course gave insight into their expertise with the 35 coaches who participated, including 5 incredible female coaches! But that’s not all, we were fortunate enough to have former professionals Bendict Vilakazi and Peter Ndlovu attend as well!

Course 2 took place at Jeppe Quondam in partnership with JVW FC. The aim of the course was to further develop coaches involved in female football. The course was being conducted by Bert Zuurman and Ingrid Perkamp, with a total of 25 coaches in attendance of which 20 were female coaches.

Through access to top-notch training and mentorship, we are not only helping these coaches develop their skills on the field, but also their confidence and leadership abilities off the field.

We firmly believe that when we equip coaches with the skills and knowledge they need, we are not just improving the game of football but also creating impactful leaders who can inspire change beyond the field.
