The Nelson Mandela Foundation and Dutch Embassy, through their development initiative, Co-create, marked the start of the second leg of the Nelson Mandela100 KNVB coaching courses with a coaching event on Thursday.
The coaching event invited thirty girls from the Altus Sports Programme to take part in a football development session conducted by KNVB Coaches Johan Neeskens and Jan Derks.
A highlight for the girls was when Banyana Banyana Legend, Amanda Dlamini, joined the session motivating and inspiring the girls on the field and beyond.
The Cape Town leg of the Nelson Mandela 100 KNVB coaching courses kick off on Monday, followed by the Kimberley leg the following week.
