Mpumalanga McDonald’s U/14 Schools League Provincial Finals followed this past weekend the 2nd of August 2014, hosting the tournament at Mbalenhle Stadium, Secunda. The Lydenburg favorites’ Coromandel School traveled 3 and a half hours to walk away Provincial finalist

This tournament is in the school environment where kids not only get education to educate their mind, but also to make sure that educate the body.
Beyond the aim of winning the tournament and lifting the trophy at the national finals, the McDonald’s U/14 Schools League is also about getting young learners active and enjoying their sport. This tournament creates a platform that allows children to hone their skills and hopefully inspires them to reach their full potential in life. . A healthy body means a healthy mind and one of our key objectives with this competition is to provide opportunities to youngsters to not only play football, but make friends and great memories
