The Premier Skills International Enterprise was launched in JHB on Tuesday.
Learners from three of the four participating schools attended the official Johannesburg launch of the Premier Skills Enterprise Programme at SuperSport United’s Training Facility.
The participants got the opportunity to meet the first team and tour the facility, while the technical team and office staff motivated the participants through footballing knowledge share.
As an added bonus, the newly crowned MTN 8 Champions shared the silverware with the participants giving the learners the chance to pose with the trophy.
The Premier League initiative, which is run through their partnership with the British Council, looks to use local clubs as a model to introduce learners to the business world.
The purpose of the programme, which is a Premier League initiative run through the British Council, is to expose the participants to job opportunities offered within a professional club environment and to teach learners how to build their own enterprises using football as a tool.
Forwardzone is proud to have facilitated the relationship between SuperSport United and the British Council and participate as activation partner of the event.
