With the insight that there are limited opportunities for female football players in South Africa to showcase their talent and gain experience, considering the growth of the women’s game on a global scale as well as its benefits, we set out to create a campaign through a CSI initiative that aims to enable the girl child and provide a platform and stepping stone opportunities for women’s football and the players’ careers.

With increasing societal evils being a concern among young individuals and communities where there is excellent exposure and influence, it is our corporate social responsibility to interject and “save” the girl child by providing a platform and opportunities for positive engagement as a catalyst for change, to encourage young girls to pursue their passions and love for the game of football in promoting a healthy lifestyle and #ENDLESSPOSSIBILITIES, powered by Forwardzone Cares and newly introduced event partners.

#ENDLESSPOSSIBILITIES was created to provide hope for communities and female footballers whose passion for the game continues to burn bright. The campaign aims to continue the narrative and challenge those with influence on women’s football in our country to go out and identify raw talent that may one day become the #FUTURESTARS of Banyana Banyana as we continue to break down the barriers to entry.

The campaign led by the Women’s Heritage Cup tournament in Soweto, JHB, SA, is now in its third year. With its proud sponsors, we are committed to taking the event from a CSI initiative to a key sports sponsorship event. The mission in its third year is to take the tournament to new heights and continue to establish a world-class product that is given the focus and investment it deserves, as women’s football is not playing for second place anymore or perceived as purely CSI but is in the title race and here to compete for the girl child and her #ENDLESSPOSSIBILITIES.
