VW TRAIN 4 LIFE in Kwabhengilanga High School

April, 2022

Volkswagen continues to invest in local youth development as part of its ongoing commitment to ‘Move People Forward’.

This week, Volkswagen visited Kwabhengilanga High School in Alexandra for the VW Train 4 Life – Life Skills programme. The two-part programme focused on helping township based students overcome challenges they face on a daily basis and teaching them how to stay in school, protect themselves from all types of dangers as well as aspire to be great leaders within their community.

The Volkswagen Train 4 Life initiative aims to empower young girls by driving the sporting passions and life skills education of over 1 800 young girls from Alexandra, Gauteng. The programme, which works alongside six Alexandra-based high schools has two core focuses. These include: driving healthy habits and passions through a girls-only soccer league and laying down positive foundations through a life skills education programme.

Forwardzone is proud to be a part of this amazing initiative and to play a role in shaping and growing tomorrow’s future leaders!
